The Beast's vote only counts as 1 when calculating banes.
Therefore, since a baner can protect someone from 3 wolves, the Beast's vote will act like a normal wolf's vote when calculating this, as opposed to the Beast having a 3-strong vote as before.

This helps the baners actually be a little useful but creates the possible problem of "untouchables" if they know what they're doing and can network efficiently to protect, say, a highly public scry.

ANOTHER OPTION: Compromise, the Beast's vote is 2.

Y/N?

I don't know, I feel like only counting it as one vote sort of neuters the beast's overall strength and gives him a much more marginal role. But then again, having one beast vote be able to negate a bane seems kind of excessive. Maybe we can compromise? Beast's vote counts as 2 votes against a Baned target?

Btw when exactly are all of these polls gonna close? Can we keep them open till maybe a few days before the round starts?

Theme has gotta lock a bit before so i can prepare all the relevant materials, but there's no reason these simple procedural rule polls can't stay open until then.

So what, let's say these polls close around next Thursday or Friday?

Polls are open until they're no longer relevant, so probably right before the round I'll close them.

As we have it now, it's two baners (6 voteblock) vs 6 wolves + beast (9 votes, since Beast is 3 and Devil can't vote). Meaning if the wolves network together after, say, 5 rounds (average) and assuming the baners survive and take out two wolves (generous for villagers), then after 5 rounds it'll be 6 to 7, with wolves still being able to override anything the baners do. And once the Devil finds a baner, it'll be pushed to 3 to <wolfcount> which pretty much makes them useless the entire game as long as both teams are somewhat decent.

Except, if we reduced the Beast's vote to 1, it'd be 6 to 7 right at the start which might be a bit underpowering.

I voted for the Beast having 1 vote but honestly I'm really not sure.

Should I throw in Beast vote = 2? Consensus?

Exactly. 1 vote underpowered, 3 votes overpowered. Solution? Let's compromise and do 2 votes.

Absolutely, that's democracy yo. Let the people choose.

the BEAST is the main villain and should rightfully hold more power otherwise there's no guarantee to anything actually getting done for the "werewolf agenda" ... which they need to have a little upper hand power wise because they are outnumbered.

It also makes it all the more critical that this player is good at their job or else they risk exposing themselves as the beast and the main target of the villagers.

I strongly would suggest against the beast getting only one vote.
Prefer her to have 3- but would be ok with her having 2.
